Stay in. We’ll bring the tyres to you.
Home Tyre Fitting
Your own driveway beats any waiting room. With home tyre fitting, a stocked van arrives at your address in a window you pick, and the work happens outside while you carry on with whatever you were doing indoors.
Mobile Tyre Fixer fitters work on driveways, car ports, parking bays and residential streets, carrying sizes for most vehicles on board. Give us the registration and the grade you want, and the tyre travels out with the fitter instead of being ordered after a look at the car.

Our Mobile Tyre Services
Every service below can be carried out at your home address, and the same fitters handle work and roadside jobs when that suits you better.
Emergency Mobile Tyre Fitting
Damage that can’t wait for a booked window is treated as an emergency callout. Tell us where the vehicle is sitting and a fitter is routed to it, whether that’s your street at midnight, a lay-by or a motorway hard shoulder once everyone is safely behind the barrier.
Mobile Tyre
Replacement
Worn tread, perished rubber or a bulge spotted while washing the car. Choose a slot and we’ll change tyres on cars, vans and light commercials right outside the house, balancing every wheel before the van is packed away.
Same Day Tyre
Fitting
Want it dealt with today? Ring in the morning and, if your size is loaded, a same-day visit to the house is usually workable. Last-minute calls are taken around the clock and we’ll be straight with you about what today can realistically hold.
Home & Workplace Tyre Fitting
Home in the morning, workplace in the afternoon. Fitting happens on driveways, in staff car parks and on quiet residential roads, so the vehicle never leaves the spot it’s parked in and nobody loses half a day to a garage.
What Actually Happens on a Home Visit
Most people have never watched a tyre being changed on their own driveway, so here’s the short version:
- Arrival and checks: the fitter confirms the vehicle, the size and the tyre grade you picked
- Wheel off: the car is jacked on level ground using your locking wheel nut key
- Old off, new on: the wheel is stripped, the fresh tyre mounted and the whole thing balanced on the van
- Final checks: valve inspected, pressures set and wheel nuts torqued before the fitter leaves
The fitter will tell you roughly how long to allow when the booking is made, and if it’s urgent you can say so on the phone and we’ll look at the earliest window. Households around Rushden and Sunbury arrange visits this way all the time.
What the Fitter Needs at Your Address
A visit runs smoothly when a few basics are in place before the van pulls up:
- Flat, firm ground such as a driveway, hard standing or level road, since sloped or soft surfaces aren't safe to jack on.
- Roughly a car's width of clear space on the side being worked on.
- Somewhere close by for the van to pull in, which matters most on narrow terraced streets.
- Your locking wheel nut key left in the car or handed over when the fitter arrives.
- Permission from the managing agent if you park in a shared or gated car park.
Not sure your parking works? Describe it on the phone and we’ll tell you before anything is booked. Fitters covering Stoke Heath and the surrounding area are well used to tight streets and shared driveways.
Tyres We Bring to Your Door

When a Home Visit Isn't the Right Call
It’s only fair to be clear about where this service doesn’t work:
- Vehicles parked on a slope, on grass or on ground too soft to take a jack
- Communal or gated car parks where the managing agent hasn't given access
- A vehicle stopped in a live motorway lane, which is a matter for the emergency services first
- Rare or performance fitments that need ordering in rather than travelling on the van
- Wheels that are seized or damaged beyond a tyre change and need a workshop
In those cases we’ll say so on the phone rather than take a booking we can’t finish. Where a roadside or workplace visit suits better we can arrange that instead, which is why plenty of customers near Warminster have the job done at work rather than at home.

Why Home Callouts Beat a Trip to the Garage
What Our Customers Say
Home Tyre Fitting Questions, Answered
Do I have to be at home while the tyre is fitted?
Someone needs to be there at the start to hand over the keys and the locking wheel nut key, and again at the end to look over the work and settle up. In between you’re free to carry on indoors.
Can you fit tyres on the public road outside my house?
Usually, provided the road is level, there’s safe space beside the vehicle and other traffic can still pass. On a narrow street it helps to move the car to a wider stretch before the fitter arrives.
How much notice do you need for a home booking?
Not much in most cases. Slots are often free within the same week and sometimes the same day. If the need is immediate, such as a tyre that isn’t safe to drive on, tell us and it’s treated as a priority job.
Could jacking the car mark my driveway?
Fitters pick proper lifting points and take the surface into account before jacking. If your drive is newly laid, block paved or soft in hot weather, mention it at the booking stage so it can be planned around.
Can you fit tyres for two cars at the same address?
Yes, and it’s a sensible way to do it. Two vehicles on one driveway, or a household sorting several tyres at once, saves a second trip. Give us both registrations on the call so the right stock is loaded.
Do you visit homes in the evening or at weekends?
Yes. Evenings and weekends are popular precisely because the car is at home and nobody has to take time off. Availability varies by area, so the earlier you ring, the more choice you’ll have.
Which areas do you cover for home visits?
Fitters work across a growing list of areas, including Almondsbury, Thame, Walmley, Westbury and Windsor. Not on the list? Give us a ring and we’ll check whether a van can reach your address.
